I believe in God, the Creator
and Ruler of the universe, existing eternally in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
who lived, died, rose from the dead, and is coming to earth again to reign as Lord and King; whose death and resurrection
have reconciled mankind to God; The Holy Spirit, who is active in our world today, causing us to know the Father and the Son
more deeply, and giving us power for right living and effective service; The Bible, the written Word of God, the final authority
for our beliefs and practices; People, created in God’s image, loved by Him, are all sinful and in need of repentance,
forgiveness and of God’s intersession of their hearts and lives; God, in mercy and grace beyond comprehension offers
people the free gift of forgiveness and eternal life in His presence which we receive by faith; Living lives fully submitted
and dedicated to God; lead, controlled and powered by His Spirit living within, characterized by His love; Life beyond death,
either eternally in the joy of God’s presence, or eternally separated from Him.
In other words… I believe in God the
Father, maker of haven and earth. I believe in the Holy Spirit, prompting us to do what is right and always wanting us to
listen to Him. I believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God, who walked this earth and taught us His plan of salvation. I believe
He is the one and only way to be saved.
Only through the acceptance of Him alone can one enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and spend
eternity with God the Father. I believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God and He inspired each book. I believe
in God’s love for this fallen world. I believe He created us all for a purpose. I believe each one of us has gifts specifically
given to us by God to fulfill in our time here on earth. I believe that in God’s mercy He gave us an incredible, undeserved
gift of grace. It remains one of the most important elements of salvation. Without it no one could be saved. I believe salvation
is God’s plan for the deliverance from the power and penalty of sin.
